Perhaps this unplanned trip back to KL, is a blessing in disguise.
I got to spend his special day with him.
In the presence of all his loved ones.

It's been awhile since the whole family got together for a special occasion.
Mom, Dad, Sis and I.
We are one again - a complete family.

He is not filthy rich,
He is not on the cover of TIME or Financial Review,
He is not the CEO of some multi million dollar company,
He does not have a driver to chauffeur me around,
He does not buy me branded handbags for my birthdays,
He does not buy me expensive footwear for Christmas.

But he is the best daddy around,
Because he loves me no matter what.
No matter how old I am,
Or how far away I live, 
Or what mistakes I have made.

He loves me just the same... if not more.
