More of South Island in Kiwiland...

I have sooo many photos of our recent New Zealand trip, that I don't even know where to start blogging from, or how to sort them out~! I'm just sorta going down the list, and picking a few random ones to share with you guys.

Besides just hitting the slopes, we did other stuff as well this time around. Last year, we were really "gung ho" going up to the snow everyday, and only had one week in New Zealand, but this time around, we had two weeks. So we had heaps of time doing other adventure stuff too.

We had many nights out bar hopping :) Meeting new people and sipping cocktails...

Happy hour @ the World Bar - teapot cocktails for half price! :P

Chilled and had chocolates @ Patagonia Chocolates. We of course, sponged the free wi-fi as well! Tee hee hee.

Patagonia chocolates are finger-lickin' good~! Hung out with the boys for abit when they were there as well :)

Check out the colour co-ordination~! And no, we didn't plan it. Really!

After recharging our energy, we would hit the slopes again.

Jon captured what he claims to be an action shot of me. Too bad, he didn't quite get me head. Kekeke.

Jon carving down the slopes on his skate banana. He loves doing tricks on his banana board.

Posing on top of the run, as we got off the chairlift. Deciding whether to go left, or right...
Yeah rite! I went left of course! Black runs still scare me.

Went up the Skyline Gondola as well. We did this last year, but it was really cold and windy when we were up there, so the Luge was closed. :(

Skyline Gondola is one of the steepest gondola rides around, and once you reach the top, there is an observation deck where you can see the beautiful Queenstown...

View of Queenstown, and on that little hut, is AJ Hackett Bungy Jump. I was too scared to try it, yet again! We saw other people jumping, but I don't think I can bring myself to bungy jump off the side of a cliff! What if I hit my head and die? It's not so bad jumping off a bridge, and hit the water, but jumping off the side of a cliff and hit the rocks? Nah uhhh... No thanks!

Had buffet lunch at the Skyline restaurant - overlooking Lake Wakatipu, and the majestic Coronet Peak and The Remarkables that surround it. We also caught a glimpse of the paragliders that took off on top of the mountain.

After lunch, we went on the Luge!! Loved loved loved it! You can choose to go on the easy, scenie track if you want to enjoy the scenery of Queenstown from above, or opt for the more exciting, adrenaline pumping advanced track! Everyone was racing on the advanced track, so it was alot of fun!!

Loveeee this pic! I almost look as if I've been photoshopped into the pic!

Other exciting stuff we did include the Shotover Jet! @ the Shotover River of course...
Since it's cold in winter, we were given a waterproof gown thingo (something like a poncho) to put on so we won't get too wet.

The lady at Shotover Jet took a photo of us before boarding the jetboat.

Us on the jet boat! Jon made us sit right at the back because he claims that's where most of the excitement is! He got really wet because he was seated right on the side!

If you looked properly, there was a guy who had a face balaclava on, and goggles to make sure he was completely dry! How funny! No exposed bits except for his hand, so he could hold onto the safety rails I suppose? Tee hee hee.

Phew~!! It was great to come back to the hotel and relax after an adrenaline pumping day.

We stayed at the Novotel in town. It's a pretty hotel, overlooking Lake Wakatipu, but close enough to the heart of everything. Convenience at your door step, really~!

Looking out from our balcony - the beautiful lake on the left, the garden and lounge on the right. What more can one ask for??

---------------------------------------------------------------

We've been back for a week, but it feels like such a longgg time! I've been bumming for the past week, just catching up with friends who are visiting in Melbourne.

It is sooo gonna be very tough for me to get back to work tomorrow! :( AND I'm rostered to work the long day as well! Totally sucks!
