I never thought today was so significant, until I opened my facebook and saw multiple updates congratulating couples who are getting married today. And I thought to myself, why would anyone wanna hold a wedding in the middle of the week? On hump day to be more specific?? OMG! Who's gonna attend the wedding when everyone's tooo busy getting depressed at work?
And then I realised, Oops ~! They probably meant Registration of Marriage - which is done at the Births, Deaths and Marriage Registry.. hehe *shy* Apparently, you have to do it on a weekday, because it's run by the government? I was like... "Ooohhh... I see".
Anyways, this post has got nothing to do with 09-09-09! I just felt like I needed to post something on this day, because it'll only come once in a lifetime! And no, if you guys are wondering, I'm not getting married today, or doing anything super significant.
However, we went to try the food and beverage @ Lindt Cafe the other day. I know Lindt Cafe has been around for awhile now in other states and countries, but it being new in Melbourne, has been really busy!
You know how people always want to try new things! Hehe...
We actually went to check out the new section of Chadstone Shopping Centre, only to find that most of the shops are the standard shops, only revamped to be better looking! Hehe. Nothing much is new, really... until we spotted the Lindt Cafe at the corner.
Looks busy busy, huh? We were going to head down to the city on the weekend, to try the Lindt Cafe on Collins Street, but since this is right in front of us, oh well... why not try it NOW?
We were ushered by the friendly staff to our table :)
Chocolate Appreciation Evening anyone??
Jon ordered the hazelnut hot chocolate - an it turned out that you have to make it yourself! Kinda like the little chocolate bits that you have to melt when you order the Suckao, but this came in the form on melted chocolate, and hot milk....
Jon looked like an excited little kid, making his own drink. Trying to dig out every bit of chocolate left!! MMmmmmMm... yum-my!

I ordered the iced chocolate and macaroons! I lurve macaroons! Always have, but after Masterchef, I appreciate how difficult it is to make them good, and look nice!! Crunchy and light on the outside, slightly chewy on the inside.

They were absolutely yummy! I told Jon that 4 wasn't enough!! I wanted moreeee.... but was obviously too lazy to join the queue of a gazillion people just to place orders...
But would definitely order a few more next time!

Good luck to me for tomorrow.... Nerves are getting the best of me! :(

Before I could finish reading this post, I have already thought of what to write to congratulate you on your ROM ;)
What's with tomorrow?
Friend of mine had hers today, as in the complete ceremony lol! Lindt's nice but it's kinda like once's enough, won't wanna queue for half an hour every weekend now would ya?
Adrianne: Yeah, I know... as I was writing the post, I was like... Hmmm, this may sound like I'm getting married... hence why I needed to clarify :P ehehe
Thebiglazyworm: Will tell you later.
The Unknown: Oh really? The wedding ceremony? Did lots of people take leave to go??
Yaeh, Lindt's good... but it's such a novelty really! The craze will die down after awhile. Just look at Krispy Kreme!
