Took this pic after dinner last night, and then Kelvin called me for a drink :) I have not seen him for almost a year? Gosh! Time flies. The last time I "saw" him was briefly, at Zouk back in KL, so that doesn't really count.
But anyways, we caught up over coffee and joked around a little. Sigh, really reminds me of college... the carefree days, not having to study at all and still do well. Blah! What happened to those days? They seem to just whisk by you, huh?? **I didn't mean I'm not doing well now mom, I just have to put more effort into it** <<>

But anyways, looking at my own photograph *yes, I know I'm vain, so sue me!* I realised that I need a haircut, and a NEW hairstyle!
I'm so bored with my current hairstyle. I've had it for years! *with slight-teeny-weeny modifications done here and there* But yeah, ultimately, I've had this hairstyle since forever!
And I feel blah about it now! I wanna try something new, yet not TOO drastic! Hey, I've got to look at least semi-professional in the hospitals yeah? But at the same time, trendy enough for me to go out. I know, I know... it seems almost impossible.
Arghh... anyone has any recommendations?? But please, no drastic measures like snip it all off k? I happen to love my locks, thank you. Heheheheh.

Leave it to the experts =) Go to a good stylist and ask for his/her opinion. THey know best. Need to suit the shape of your head, face etc. They will comment on EVERYTHING. Unless there's a stylist here reading your blog too ;)
But seriously, these stylists do attend classes and they know best =)

Hi Mei!! I'm now in Auckland, was having so much fun in Msia prior to this. Did so much shopping and also did something to my rambut>> I curled my hair!! Just the bottom bits though. That was pretty drastic for me eh..
Thank God it turned out alright though, just gotta take the trouble to use conditioner, put on some special hair-treatment after every wash. Can't comb the full length of my hair when it is dry etc.
Anyway, this hair-do makes me look a wee bit more mature, as I'm starting work in July. If not, I may be mistaken as a 3rd year medical student! Happened a few times already.
Wanted to colour it too but then didn't have enough time to go back to the hair-stylist again because you can't colour & perm at the same time.

Make sure you know what you want before going to the hairstylist. I told the stylist that I wanted a side fringe and not too short. He gave me an ok and ask me not to worry about it. The next thing I knew, he CHOPPED off almost all of my fringe and layered my hair so much it has too much volume!!! =(
Never ever would I let a hairstylist tell me what is good for me and what is not. =P
