I was completely devastated when something went wrong with my files when Mingyen reformatted my computer last week. I was horrified when he said he couldn't recover the data from the external hard disk!
I was like "WHAT??" My entire life is in there!! (Okay, I'm exagerating, but yes, alot of my precious data are in that hard disk. No kidding!) He accidentally left the cable of the external hard disk plugged onto my USB when he reformatted the laptop, causing the data to all disappear! BoohOooOoO!
But oh well, thank GOD he managed to recover the "lost" data!!! So, I managed to get back:
- all my mp3's (they mean alot to me, as they were from *him*. He copied his whole entire list for me, when I got the laptop).
- all my pictures!! (the MOST MOST important thing in my laptop. Not some secret password to a multi-million Swiss bank account, but my precious photos! The memories of time... )
- my CV & other important documents!
- my videos. (yes, some of them mean alot to me!) and some that I shall not share with the world. Hahahaha.
- and other miscellaneous stuff.... like MSN histories, ICQ histories, and other stuff (I do keep some special ones). =)
All in all, I'm just really glad that nothing's lost! *except for some blardee virus. Haha*

quite ok, same lectures as last year. i was dozing off at some point, lol.

oh lucky ur stuff is recovered.. my laptop died completely so i lost a lot of my old photos and files... ah well....
read ur last blog too... really sad... i'm sure u'll be compassionate as a doctor and empathic with patients.
i don't know if i'm able to face the situation when i'm in one... .hmm don't want to think about it yet ><

And as for her, yeah... well, that's the least I could do for her, since I cant bring her baby back. A pair of listening ears wouldn't hurt. Hehe.
