Ken wanted to arrange a little surprise dinner for Sweet Ping, but obviously, the surprise wasn't really a surprise in the end... cause Ken's not discreet enough, and Sweet Ping is just darn smart... hehehe. Very 'with it' when it comes to things.

We went for dinner @ this cosy little Italian restaurant called Vialetto, at Hardware Lane. The ambience was nice, although I'd rather have sat outside, under the heaters :D

Food was only so-so. The bread was hard as rock... but the main meal was fine :D Or maybe, I was just too darn hungry... We had to wait for an hour for Vanessa and Audrey to turn up :( Not to sound like a whinger, but when it says 7.30 pm, I don't think I enjoy waiting till 8.30 pm only to place an order for my food, AND THEN having to wait again!
At least Sweet Ping was entertaining us with funny stories from her vacation to Central Australia during the winter break. How she had nightmares, sleeping in tents, and dingo encounters. Hehehehe...

Well, a birthday dinner will not be complete without the birthday song, and of course, the birthday cake :D Hehehehe. And no, she's not 7 years old **only 7 candles on her cake**.
Too bad Jon and I had to leave as soon as the song finished, cause Ade and gang already bought movie tickets for us, for Miami Vice. We rushed off to Melbourne Central, to catch the movie, which wasn't even that fantastic. I personally think Gong Li looks a little old, and is in need of some lip colour.
But oh well, we had an enjoyable night despite all the waiting and the rushing and all... Dinner was quite yum, and Ken, thanks for inviting us to dinner :) We'll do bowling another time k? Sorry I couldn't join you guys for the party at STRIKE Bowl.
There's always another time... another year older.

Thank you for coming to the dinner and the 'big hug'. hehe. Too bad you had to leave, the cake was yummy..keke...we ended up offering a piece to Peter the waiter just because he was nice. Anyway, will catch up with you soon. I don't know what happened to the other pics...Ken still haven't upload them. Sweet Ping.
