Two Sundays ago (not the Sunday that just passed), we went to yumcha @ Taipan, Doncaster... after such a longgg time. I haven't been there in months, and no need to mention that Shiew hasn't been there for a year! :) I still remember, that the day she left for KL last year, we yumcha-ed @ Taipan as well. With her bags all packed, luggage in the car...
.
Wow, it's all still very fresh in my head. It actually seemed like, she's never left Melbourne before. Being back in the same house with her... really brings back memories. It's all too familiar! :)
.
The food was really gooooooddd. Maybe it's just the fact that we all haven't been there for some time, and we were really hungry then... But really, everything just tasted extra yummy that day!

Took some photos outside, at the entrance :) Was a bit shy... cause it was quite a busy day, and poeople were rushing in and out... Danny even became the "doorman" for a moment, cause he held the door opened for us. But then, there was like, a "gaggle of geese" all rushing out. And the line just seemed never ending. And oh, the crowd inside, MASSIVE!.
We had to wait for our table, even though we made a booking... but after savouring the dimsims, I'd say... the wait was kinda worth it :D I think it's a common tactic all restaurants use. They starve you till you almost faint. And then serve the food "hot and smoky"! That's why they always taste so yummm!?!

Walked around around the city to digest the food in our over-utilised stomach :) Believe it or not, throughout the many years I've been here, I've never had a photo taken outside the NGV. Well, now I've got one :)
Oh, oh... visited the Southbank Market as well... for like the (n)th time. *Insert a number as you wish* cause I can't remember! Too many to mention.
Had coffee at this cafe @ Federation Square after walking for abit, and we all got thirsty. But the drinks there were so badddd. That the iced coffee, tasted worse than the BigM milk coffee. So, we decided to drive alllll the way to Fitzroy Street, St. Kilda's for some proper drinks :)
Cacao, is the name of the place. The iced chocolate here is splendid! YUmmMyYYY... purely sinful! They prepare the drinks within your sight. So we could really see how much chocolate they poured in. YuMmmM...
Look at the chocolates on display for sale.... Don't they all look pretty??
I was soooo damn stuffed after all the eating and drinking, and eating... that I couldn't even have dinner. Shiew and I both had a packet of chips for dinner, while watching Casanova @ the new Hoyts cinema. Well, I know it's not very new anymore. But she hasn't been there. So it's all new to her :D Hehehe...
The movie was alrite, but spending the week with her... priceless :) We got to catch up on lotsa things. And got to relive our memories in Melbourne. I admit that I was really tired last week, from all the going out, and the long hours in the hospital... but I really really enjoyed myself.
I miss you already, dear... I bet you're dreading work! Hahaha. How was lunch with senior management, babe? Was it anything? Or should you have pulled a sickie and stayed another day? *winks*

Cacao's at Fitzroy Street, St. Kilda's. It's opposite Topolino's, the italian restaurant. You won't miss it. Corner shop. But they don't open till late though. :(
