Chap Goh Meh @ Crown

Today is the 15th, and also the last day of the Chinese New Year. As you all know, I've been back in Melbourne since Friday, but I've been hibernating due to obvious reasons. Dead tired from lack of sleep, and running errands.

Well, I finally finished unpacking and cleaned up my room, did laundry, and even vacuumed my carpet. So, I decided that I could go out peacefully without having to worry about my messy room and dirty laundry :) Sigh, the down-side of living alone is that you've got to do EVERYTHING on your own!

Headed for coffee @ Max Brenner's with Jackie. I have not seen this friend of mine for a couple of months now! Hehehe... Come to think of it, I've known Jackie for agess! More than a decade I think! He finally told me today, I looked serious when I was in primary school. So different as compared to now. I don't know if it's a compliment or otherwise.

Went out for dinner after that with the rest of them. (Ade, Karen, Jialian, TMY, YongShen and CheeYoong). Finally got my keyring and pretty gift from my sister! Thanks TMY, for carrying them back for me! And thanks, Fun... for the present! *hugz*

Had Japanese for dinner @ Meshiya :) The Tempura mixed set was not too bad. Although I've tasted better... Hehehe..

Then, Ade suggested that we head to Crown Casino as there will be fireworks in conjunction with "Chap Goh Meh", which is the final day of Chinese New Year, also known as "Chinese Valentine's Day".

Walked around for abit while waiting for the fireworks to come on. Our informer, Sau told us that it was gonna start at 9pm. He got his information wrong!!! It only started at 10pm, after some karaoke competition!

So, we decided to snap some photos while waiting. Well, more like I decided to snap photos! Hahahaha...

But the wait was kinda worth it!

The fireworks was beautifullll... I think it lasted for a good 10 minutes! (OK, maybe I am exagerating, but it really felt never-ending!). So prettyyyy...

Well, all in all... I've been having fun :) Have been pretty busy the last few days, but at least I got to enjoy myself before classes start again tomorrow! Gosh, this is going to be a longgg week for me! 8am start everyday! No good for someone who has been waking up at noon everyday for the past month!

And to make things worse, I've got a test this friday! ArgGghHh... but to reward me, Shiew will be reaching Melbourne on Saturday morning!! Woohoo... what perfect timing huh? Hehehe. I can't waittttt... Shiew's counting down already! :)
