CNY Updates :)

It's great, really... to be able to spend CNY back home in KL. I mean, the atmosphere is just so different compared to Melbourne. The Chinese New Year spirit is still veryyy alive, even after the first week. For those of you who are not Chinese, CNY actually lasts for 15 days! :) In case you didn't know... So yes, we're still celebrating!!! Well, actually, it's just another excuse to get together, eat heaps of junks, and gamble!!!

Reunion dinner(s) were great too!!! Went for 2 this year. Maternal side, and also paternal side :) Relatives are back from overseas... Everyone looks so different now. My nephews (who are older btw) are getting married this year! So are 2 of my cousins! I hope I can be back to attend their weddings! *fingers crossed*

Had soooo many mahjong sessions this year! But the sad part is, I still suck at the game, and kept losing money! Sigh... Having such difficulties reading the chinese characters, that I need my 8 years old cousin to write them out on a piece of paper for me! :( *in case I need to refer to them*

Well, I'm going to leave for Melbourne in a week's time. As the day draws nearer, I can't help but to feel a little sad, to leave my family behind. Normally, I'll be flying with my sis, so it's not so bad... but this time around, it's just gonna be me. :( Sigh... time to grow up, I guess... Gonna have to do everything on my own.

But I guess the truth is, if you don't go through this hardship in life, you'll never mature and learn. Bits and pieces of life... But really, I'm gonna miss home so much... my family, my room, my beloved bed, Ruffles, Mashimaro, and mostly.... *you*.
