My not-so-romantic Valentine's

Well, today is a special day to most people, but to a few of us, today is not just special in one way, but two! Besides Valentine's, it's also Sau's birthday! Hahaha, his future girlfriend will only have to get him one gift! *kill two birds with a stone* How nice.

Initially, a few of us made plans to have dinner together, since we single people have got no dates/plans for tonight. We were supposed to all have instant noodles together, and mope about our pathetic single life. But somehow, a simple dinner ended up becoming a birthday get-together! Hahaha..

Dinner was supposed to start at 7pm... but everyone was too busy taking their afternoon naps that they all came over late. I took the time to take a power nap as well. So not used to the hectic timetable this semester. I'm on night duty over the weekend in the delivery suite. Boohoo! I can smell my pathetic life as an intern already. But anyways, I digress... Shall worry about that another day!

Back to the party...

We ordered pizza :) and rented DVD's. And of all shows, guess what we watched? American Pie - Band Camp! How much more unromantic can we get??? But oh well, we all had a good laugh! Gross, but entertaining! Go rent the DVD if dirty jokes turn you on.

I think Sau didn't expect us to get a cake for him to celebrate his coming of age! Hehehe. :D It's good that nobody leaked any information to spoil the surprise. Hehehe. Hope you liked it, Sau.

Well, in summary... I did have a celebration. It was a good one although I didn't have any significant other to share today with. But it's all good. It's not my first year spending Valentine's being single anyways. Think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Hahahah. Or maybe, I'm just being too picky! :( Or greedy perhaps? Hehehe. In fact, I had heaps of people celebrating with me! Am I lucky or what? *giggles*

Thanks guys, for making today a memorable one. I'm glad that I didn't have to be stuck at home alone, feeling all miserable. Really, I don't know what my life in Melbourne will be like without you guys! Well, I kinda know... definitely not as exciting!

Scares me sometimes, thinking of our future since this is our final year after all! We'll probably be taking separate paths, heading different directions in life. Just want you guys to know that no matter what happens... I will always have you guys in my heart...
