Congratulations~!

Karen and Darren (I just realised that your names rhyme with each other's. Haha) were here on a short holiday a fortnight ago. I have known this girl for almost 2 decades now, and have always remained close despite the distance between us.

This girl never fails to make time for me whenever I go back to KL. Every single year, no matter what time of day :) It's only fair that I make time for her when she's here, isn't it? :P Besides, she's been driving me around all these years, it's about time I returned the favour! Hehe.

The 1'O' girls. Tee hee hee. It's been so super duper long huh? Good friends stand the test of time :) and distance.... between KL, the UK, Brisbane and Melbourne.

We went out for lunch in the city... along the little alleys where the coffee culture is rich :) The true Melbourne that many tourists do not see. Hehe...

Darren & Mei - two verrrrrry hungry person waiting for lunch to be served!! We practically finished our coffee while waiting for our mains to be served. But oh, the wait was so well worth it, because the food was steaming hot and oh so warming to the stomach :)

It was so good that Darren rang me a couple of days later, asking for directions back to the restaurant! Hahaha.

We walked around the city for abit after lunch, to burn off some calories~! And of course, so they could explore the city a little :) You have NOT been to Melbourne if you haven't been to Bourke St Mall - the commonest meeting point for everyone~! And the home for many marvelous street performers too.

The shopaholic unleashed~! :( They should be the ones shopping, not me!! Tsk tsk tsk...

The infamous Flinders Station and Federation Square - with Darren's cousin.

The gals on the bridge, with Southbank and Yarra River on the background. Bringing them around that day, reminded me of why I fell in love with Melbourne in the first place. This place holds a special place in my heart, albeit being here alone. It's funny, isn't it?

Enough of that, the highlight of their trip wasn't Melbourne per se, but more Sydney, cause.....

He proposed!!!!

Words cannot express how happy I am for the both of them~! :) I know I have said this already, but CONGRATULATIONS once again to the both of you! And make sure I'm the first to know once a date is set, cause I need to book my plane ticket home!! Woots!!

And girl, I'm still waiting for the rest of the pics in your camera! I really didn't take that many photos.... These are pretty much all I have from your entire trip here! :( Boooohoooo.

ps: Thanks again for the post-it note. I will always remember that I am loved :) *muah*

Hi Tam :)

No, I'm not using a DSLR. Just a point and shoot from probably... 4-5 years ago. It's the Olympus - shockproof waterproof one.

There are lots of other cameras with really good image qualities though! I am considering a new camera actually! But a DSLR is just so bulky! :( Why can't we have a compact camera that takes awesome pics?! hehehehe...
