The New Vegemite.

Are you a fan of Vegemite? Or even tried it at any point of your life?? Do you remember the Vegemite song on tele years ago??

Well, I believe every Australian loves Vegemite - well, almost. Maybe I'm generalising here, but when I first got to Australia, I was wondering what the hype was all about. Until I tried it for myself.... Oh, I thought to myself, tastes alot like Marmite. Only saltier! And yummier!

I have to admit that I've been hooked on Vegemite since. I always have my toast with Vegemite and butter. Especially on my night shifts and stuff... Jam in the middle of the night is just, not right!

So anyways, we all know that Kraft has released the new Vegemite that's supposedly more spreadable, and less messy than the old one.

There was a competition to name the new Vegemite, and for a short period of time, it was called "iSnack 2.0" Just how STUPID IS THAT NAME?!! So utterly unoriginal! I'm a big Apple fan, but this ain't another Apple product!

Anyways, everyone was so dissatisfied that they had to pull it from the shelfs, and now it's back to "Name Me" again. That's besides the point though.

Vegemite has been such a bestselling product for years~! I am actually quite disappointed with the taste of the new Vegemite. I gotta admit that it's alot easier to spread though... but the taste, hhmmm... different! The new Vegemite has got a blend of cream cheese, for it to be smoother and spreads easier.

To be honest, I DON'T like it. I mean, I don't mind it, but I am certainly not in love with it. I ALWAYS have my Vegemite with butter.... ALWAYS! And having it with cheese just doesn't taste the same. Now I'm wondering how I'm going to finish the whole bottle of the new spreadable Vegemite by myself! :( Maybe I should buy a packet of Salada and make Jon finish them for me. Hahahah...

I guess Remy is always there as a back up if need be.

And on a totally irrelevant note, I just gotta show off another one of my headbands. Hehe. If you didn't already know, I'm currently going through this headband phase. A little slow, I know! Considering Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl has been forced to ditch the headband since she got to college.
