The gang caught up again last week :) It was mainly because Yong Shen is back in town for a med course, but also to celebrate Jia Lian's and Adeline's upcoming birthdays! It's been awhile since the whole gang came together.
The girls met up a couple of weeks ago to celebrate Leny's engagement, but the boys were missing then... and TMY was too lazy to come down this time around, so it was still an incomplete group. Still good though :D

Jia Lian had a piece of news to share as well. Well, she didn't really have to tell us, since she brought "evidence" along. So happy for you, girl! I like him... he's a fast learner :) hehhehe... just kidding. He really seems like a nice guy.
We had dinner at Ants Cafe in Chinatown. I don't know why this place would wanna name itself Ants cafe. Weird pick, if you asked me... hehe. Food was pretty good though. I would never have found this place on my own if Karen didn't give me directions.
Tucked away in some little corner... but boy! It's packed!! I suppose people can always find good food, no matter where they are.

This is just borderlining hilarious.
We adjourned to have coffee @ Mee Too in Melbourne Central after dinner. We wanted to go to Max Brenner's but they were pretty full and couldn't accomodate all of us. Oh well, it's okay. I wasn't really in the mood for hot chocolate anyway.

Brings back memories. We used to have dinner together every Friday. And the guys went through this phase where they'd wanna go play pool all the time. And somehow or rather, we'd always end up in Melbourne Central cause I didn't like going to the dodgy pool / snooker place in Chinatown.
At the other end of the table - Karen, Richard, Ming Haw and Chee Yoong.
We're meeting up tonight again for dinner with Yong Shen before he leaves... Apparently, we're going to Westin! Woots!!! and he's also bringing along a "friend" *aherm* hheheheheh.

His name is Pralad, and he works with them in the Austin. He's the Haem reg there.
I don't know the details about how they met and how they got together and stuff.. that you need to ask her :P
