My day, My Nite...

Last night, Jon came home and told me to get ready for dinner. I then asked...
"Where are we going?" "Do I have to dress up?"
"No... Just wear whatever you want"
"Jeans/denim ok?"
"Yuppers"

And so, I wore my Bettina's and a spaghetti strap, cause it was so darn hot yesterday, and off we went ;)

"Where are we going?" "Are we there yet?" I kept exclaiming in the car...
"No. It's along Church Street, near the city"
"Hmm... OK" and so the excited little girl just sat comfortably in the car, while Jon drove. Hehehehe. Quietly, I was still asking... "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?!"

At Church Street...

"So where are we going?"
"To a pub!" "When I rang them up, they told me the next available booking is 4 weeks away. And that was tonight."
"WHAT?! 4 weeks reservation for pub food?! You gotta be kidding me! What pub is this?!"

We were outside Prince Alfred Hotel when he casually pointed at it. I nearly walked in, because the gullible me believed him!!! But really, I was very confused. Why do you need 4 weeks of reservation in advance to have pub food???

It turned out that he liedddd!!! Jon's soooo slyyyyy! Cheeky little fella! We were NOT heading to the pub. Instead, he brought me to an award winning, fine dining restaurant, Pearl!

I didn't bring my camera, so I couldn't snap photos of the place. But do visit their website http://www.pearlrestaurant.com.au. The ambience is really nice, and the food, YUMMO excellent!!!! :) I highly recommend it to everyone! I can't steal pics from the website cause it's kinda like... a slideshow. and this internet/computer idiot doesn't know how to "flick" the whole thing!

To make my special day even more special, he bought me something in that came in a blue-green box, tied with white ribbons! Yes, he bought me something from Tiffany & Co.! :) **beam**

We were supposed to go catch a movie, but decided that we were both too tired... so we rented a DVD, went home... lied down on our new comfy lounge suite, and watched The Departed instead.

All in all, my night ended really well, with Jon by my side, and phone calls and messages from all those people dearest to me! I love you guys heaps!!! Thank you for making me happy although I'm getting older. Soon enough, birthday gifts will comprise of wrinkle cream, breast firming cream, free botox vouchers, and etc. hehehehhee... But for now, I'm gonna rejoice that I don't have any lines just yet...

I hope today's gonna be a good one for me at work. My last day as a surgical intern, on my birthday. Hehehe. Medical, here I come...

And oh, see you guys on Saturday! :) Our house is finally a home now! That's why we can invite everyone over... hehehe. :) Funny, do you wanna come too?? :P
