And let the world pass me by...
Let my worries drift away...
Don't wanna talk to nobody...
Cause nobody truly understands how I feel.
I just wanna be.... me.
Not the happy-go-lucky, sensitive intern,
Not the understanding girlfriend,
Not the physically and emotionally unwell girl,
Just...... ME.
Today,
I just wanna cry my heart out,
Hoping that the tears will cleanse my sins,
Wash my troubles away...
And not be judged as emotional and weak.

Instead of thinking that that side of you is just 'YOU', think if it as the 'YOU' battery that's running out of power, and needs some recharging, perhaps recharging in the form of tears.
The REAL you is the one that has a fully charged battery, aka the happy-go-lucky, sensitive intern, and lovable girlfriend =).
Don't worry, we all have low power periods where we need to recharge. And nobody deserves to be called WEAK when that happens. What's gotta be done gotta be done.
