Shiewy in Melbourne :D

I think it's been almost 2 years since I last spent some quality time with Shiew, my best bud from high school. This trip back to KL was wayyyy too short as it was more like a stop-over than a proper trip home.

I did manage to catch her briefly, but we didn't really get to do our girly stuff together. It was more a "meet everyone at once, trying to fit everyone" kinda meeting, so it wasn't quite as enjoyable. I really miss hanging out with this girl!

I miss those times where we just sat on the balcony of our apartment, and drank hot chocolate, while talking about everything, to nothing.

But Shiew's back.... for 2 weeks (with Ed, to attend a friend's wedding).

Shiew: Hey, that's the burger you like rite??? The one on your blog?
Mei: Hahaha, yeaps :D You wanna try it??
Shiew: But Jye just had it yesterday.
Mei: But he can have a different burger this time around!

She couldn't finish her burger! :( :( But it was yummm though! Jye had to finish the rest of it for her.... tsk tsk tsk.


With Jun Jye after he left for Perth, and I left for the city for the suburbia life. Oh how I've mellowed down over the years!

Yes yes, I made him "lean" against those poles thingoes @ QV, and I was on tippy toes, and he still towers over me! I hate being a shortieeee!!

Jye left us after lunch and Shiew and I did some shopping around the city. I had to leave before dinner, as I had to go back and feed my precious boy before going off to work at night. Night shift sucks!! Having said that though, I've had some pretty good nights, where I got to sleep from like 2ish, right through to 7am, with only minor interruptions, and some nights, it's just been disastrous! Patients coding, needing transfers etc.

Being on nights is great when it's a quiet night, and then I can still spend the days with Shiew.

I woke up about noon the other day, and came down to the city to meet up with her for some "Collins St" shopping and drinks after!

We walked into Chanel, wanting to suss out the classic flap bag, but I didn't make any purchase for I couldn't justify spending 4K+ when I'm gonna move house at the end of the month!

Please ignore the mess I made from spilling the churro's - resulting in icing sugar everywhere!!! The lady gave us the churro's in that paper container thingo instead of on the plate. So I had to ask for a plate so we could eat in peace without having to worry about the container toppling again!


But the dipping chocolate, was ohhhh soooo heavenlyyyyy!! YuMmmMmMm....

We didn't plan this. Just so happen that we both turned up in white tops and black accessories! But then again, I suppose it's a very basic colour that lotsa ppl wear most of the time...

Ed came to join us later, after he's woken up from his nap. Poor Ed - had to work up till 3am in the morning!

I should be meeting her again tomorrow / Wednesday before she flies back to Singers. And btw, Anand's here too, so I should be catching up with him at some stage as well! I haven't seen him in like 8 years or so after he left for the states!

And besides, Addy and I need to check out the Gucci sale in the city to see if we can grab anything... I can just tell that I'm gonna be sooooo broke by the end of this month! I guess I can't really complain that I'm working nights on Christmas eve and Christmas Day cause I need the money!!

10 more days till my sis gets here! Woot woot..... fun fun fun with fun fun fun! Hahaha. I'm so corny! :P
