A new year, a new beginning...

Year 2008 has come and gone... and looking back, I think this year has been pretty good to me in many ways. Although I had some minor hiccups, but looking back, it appears that everything happens for a reason, and you soon come to realise that things might actually be better the way they are now, as compared to how you visualised them to be before.

Last New Year's eve was spent in the city. Jon and I dined in a nice restaurant along the Yarra River, where we could see the fireworks from the restaurant. We caught the first round of the fireworks while dining... :D I still remember that it was a scorchy hot day!!! And we fell asleep in the air conditioned train in each other's arms....

This year, we had a simple dinner at Poppy's Thai near home, and here I am now... blogging at work :( Yes, I'm on nights unfortunately...

Picture stolen from google. Awesome ain't it??
Eventhough I'm at work, I hope everyone else is having a greatttt time ushering in the year of 2009! According to K. Rudd, year 2009 is gonna be a tough one, so be ready and brace yourselves. Save plenty for rainy days... and spend smartly :)
Have a good one everyone! :)
With lotsa love from the girl stuck at work, who's hopefully gonna be watching the fireworks on telly if it's not too busy!
