Box Hill RMO XMas Drinks

I got an invite from James a couple of weeks ago to attend Eastern Health's RMO Christmas Drinks nite, and thought to myself... I'm not even with Eastern Health anymore...

BUT it'd be a great opportunity to catch up with a few buddies including Gaya that's leaving for Newcastle for a Paeds SRMO job next year. I'm sooo gonna miss you, babe! :( :( Besides, who'd say no to a free bar tab??? And Golden Monkey has an extensive selection of cocktails, so it's all good.... I'm sold!!

Besides, it's my last year sponging off them, cause James is moving on to Austin Health next year - and unless he joins the RMO society @ Austin and organises stuff, then this is probably my best shot! Kakakaka.

Kaz, Chloe, Gaya & Mei - all still sober at the start of the night. Gaya looked gorgeous btw, in her little blue dress and her new heels! :) Kaz and Chloe are still inseparable... tee hee hee...

Besides James and Gaya - the rest of us were crashers! And there were more.... Half of the people there weren't even Eastern Health-ers.

Mei: What are YOU doing here?? You're not from Box Hill!

Sush: Neither are you?!!

Mei: We're here for the free drinks!

David: Come, sign your name **points to this piece of paper** and then grab your wrist band for the bar tab.

Mei: Oh... **eyes widened** Really??

David: Yeah... sure :)

And yes, I had FREE drinks the whole night :)

I left the party about quarter to midnite. It's a sign that I'm getting old, really... Was supposed to go clubbing with Conal and gang, but I was too tired for it.

So there you have it... the life of a grandma :)

ps: I'm blogging from work. Hopefully, things stay "peaceful" throughout the night so I can get some sleep.
