Of Black Diamond Runs...

Last Saturday, we went for our last snow trip for this season... We wanted to do some black runs, so we won't regret not having done that this season! :P tee hee hee... I know it's sort of like a weird way to spend our anniversary... but hey, who's to say anything so long we're happy huh?

Look at those cutesy little kids! They were just racing past everyone else! Oh my!! If I had a kid, I'd definitely want my kid to learn skiing/snowboarding...

We went down the summit runs **It's pretty darn steep!** and Jon made me go down the Howqua Black Diamond Run! I was super duper scared, when I looked down, and all I see was the plunging ravine!!! If I didn't know how to stop, I would have been down the mountain in no time! *dead, of course*

But hey, no fear! No regrets! I did it anyhow... hehehe... and after the first attempt, we went on it a few more times! WHEE!!!


Yes!! I did my first black diamond run!!! :) WOOHOOO!!!


Got hold of a nice man to take pics for us... The scenery at the back is breathtaking huh??? It was absolutely beautiful. The drop off for the run, not so beautiful... it's so steep you can't even see where you're heading!

Jon, at the end of the day... Satisfied that we made our last trip up... Not so happy that he sprained his wrist though.

Yes, we made good progress this season! We did black runs, without falling :) Woohoo!!!

New Zealand next year... or perhaps, the Perisher Blue? Interested, anyone?? If we have enough leave, and money... we might even look into Whistler - Blackcomb's in January?! :P tee hee hee...
