Finally Giving In??

Last weekend, the family decided to spend some quality time together. The girls (mom, sis and I) kinda made plans to go shopping. Sis was looking for a pair of black heels for my couz' wedding dinner. Dad usually doesn't like coming along. He's not much the shopping kind. So, over the years, we got tired of extending an invitation to him... so we usually just go out without him.

But last Sunday was somewhat different. Dad found out that we were going shopping... Instead of the usual "Have fun!" - and turning back to pay attention to his newspaper, he got up and got changed... and decided to go shopping with us! He even offered to drive! How very rare indeed...

Christmas decor @ The Curve Shopping Mall. It's a blue Christmas!

And even more amazing, dad was the biggest shopper that day! :) He went home with 4 items! **that's a very big achievement for him** He usually gets bored within 20 minutes of walking around with us bunch of ladies. Hehehe.

After burning a big hole in daddy's pocket (cause he paid for my stuff, and Funny's stuff too. tee hee hee), we took a break from shopping, and decided to have some drinks for abit.

Mei & Daddy @ Lan Kwai Fong - I suggested this place, cause I wanted to try the "Yin Yong" (iced coffee and tea). Yes, I've been watching too many chinese TV shows! They always order that, so I decided to give it a try!

It's pretty good actually. If you haven't tried it, you should :)

We then walked around for abit more before mom suggested that we have something for 'tea'. Hahaha. Mind you that it was around 5-ish, and we went for pancakes!

**It took mom about 4 attempts to get this pic right. She couldn't figure out how to use my camera phone, but refused to give up**

We left around 6-ish, cause dad was starting to complain that he was bored! Hahahaha. Oh well, at least he gave it a try, going shopping with us! I know he just wants the family to spend some time together, that's why he gave in to the greatest evil *in his dictionary* - ShOpPinG!

And oh, regardless to say, we had dinner only around 9ish.

And oh... did I conveniently forget to mention that I'm getting chubbier by the day?
