We decided to do something touristy on Saturday night, while we were in Hong Kong. After all, there is only so much shopping you can do! *OK, not entirely honest* But yeah, you can't go somewhere and not do touristy things!
So we decided to make our way up to the infamous Victoria Peak. We took the MTR to Central Station (if I remember correctly) and walked towards the tram stop to get up to The Peak.
We thought that we would be able to catch the tram up, walk around for abit before we have dinner up there... but OMG~! When we got to the "base", we realised that the queue to catch the tram, was massive~!!!
It just kept snaking....
But... but... we really wanted to go up.
So we joined the super long queue, and waited patiently like everyone else (well, except for a few)
Took some happy snappies while waiting... Since we weren't heading anywhere being stuck in line.
After turning the corner, we thought we were going to board the tram, only to realise... that the queue continues to snake around! OMG~!! *faints*
Resorted to camwhoring some more to kill time... The waiting continues, and the worst part was, Tish was starting to feel the urge to use the toilet! Oh NO!!
Thankfully not too long after, we finally got onboard the tram. Jon looks like a little boy here, with his hair combed sideways, and a backpack. Tee hee hee.
Yays~!!! Up to the peak we go :)
I guess the wait was worth it after all, cause the view from the top, is absolutely breathtaking~! Who would have guessed, that the city that looks hazy during the day, has such beautiful night views from the top?
One of us :) and not quite a good depiction of the stunning views below.
It got a little cold and windy after awhile, so we decided to head indoor to get some food. It was starting to get really packed up at the sky terrace anyways, so we thought we'd head somewhere else to avoid the crowd.
We walked around, and saw this cute cartoon of dim sum, so we thought, maybe we'd have dim sum for dinner... but after exploring the place, we finally found out that it was a dim sum exhibition! Not a restaurant :( Fail maxxxxx....
But perhaps it was a blessing in disguise, cause we then stumbled upon a Michelin Star Restaurant! *wheeeee* to good food!
I had the beef tendons with wonton noodles. They were soooo good~! Arguably the nicest bowl of wonton noodles I ever had!! It was so good that...
I had to order another bowl!!! MmmMMm... super yummm~!
We walked around the complex after dinner. Went to Madame Tussaud's to mingle with some wax figurines... and did some window shopping when we stumbled upon the cutest things ever!!
They are hilarious!! I couldn't stop laughing when Jon showed me this photo! Hahahah... Should have bought them!!
Us, while waiting in line, for the tram back down to Hong Kong Central.
It was a good night indeed, but we were completely knackered by the end of it...
Time to catch some ZzzzzZZZZzZzzZZz... nitey nite, all :)
