I just realised as I was posting the last post, that I haven't actually finished uploading the pics from my recent Hong Kong trip. Sigh, now I'm back at work, and the trip seems like it's long goneeee! BOohoOo.
But anyhoo, better late than never I guess... so here are some pics! :)
This is probably going to be a picture-heavy post as we went a little crazy with the camera over there.
Starting our day with brekkie at the Charlie Brown Cafe. This was located close to our hotel in Kowloon.. and it's one of the places that are open early for breakfast. The other places around that opens early, are mainly bakeries. I think alot of Hongkies buy pastries to eat on their way to work in the mornings.
I love how Hong Kong has all these cute, lovely cafes - everywhere! Look left, look right, outdoors, indoors, these cutesies are everywhere~!!
That morning, Jon had to attend some lighting expo at the Exhibition Centre in Wanchai, so I decided to take a walk around the hotel.

Some random cutey "world bear" along Avenue of Stars.
Along the path heading towards InterContinental @ Tsim Sha Tsui. Did some shopping for a cheongsam. I've always wanted to buy a cheongsam, but the choices here in Melbourne is so limited, and they are so pricey! So I took this golden opportunity to have a look around.
Jon rang about lunch time, so I then boarded the ferry to cross over to the HongKong Island side to meet up with him.
Star Cruise anyone??? :) Wouldn't mind, really. It's been awhile since I last went on a cruise.
We met up for lunch and then did more shopping along Causeway Bay :P hehe. What else would one do in Hong Kong besides eat and shop, really?
Speaking of eating, we had seafood dinner that night and it was yum~! Oh actually, let me rephrase. We had crabs for dinner that night and they were real yum!!
I am salivating as I am typing this~! Perhaps I should have crabs noodle for dinner tonight or something! :P This post was originally entitled "More of Hong Kong" but these yummy crabs have proved too powerful a distraction.
And mom, it's damnnn hot today~! And the next couple of days. I am getting a headache just reading the weather forecast. Have been super sluggish since it's my first off day after the whole long weekend, but also cause the heat has just zapped every ounce of energy out of me!
Don't you just love the erratic Melbourne weather?! It was 19 earlier in the week, and now it's 30+. Just great! *If you can't sense the sarcasm, please go shoot yourself* :P
