Sorry this is so outdated. Been crazy busy recently...
Rise and shine....
Nothing is a better pick-me-up than great breakfast...
I am all ready to start my day~! :)
But, it was check out day, unfortunately... Time to pack our bags and check that we have got all our belongings before checking out at the counter. Oh well, never mind....
Buh bye Cumberland Lorne Resort...
Bye bye Lorne....
The weather was pretty good on the way home, so we decided to take the scenic route home... Passing by touristy destinations, and joining in the fun of being all touristy, snapping pics and stuff.
Stopping near the split-point lighthouse.
Posing for some photos of course~! Tee hee...
Loving the serenity here... The clear blue skies, the crystal clear water... and the fresh crisp breeze...
Spent the morning watching people surfing at Bells' Beach and secretly wishing I could surf too...
Besides, it's not that much different from snowboarding, is it? :P
Driving with the sunroof down on a perfect sunny day... is b.l.i.s.s.
Can't be at Torquay and not to go Surf City huh? It is after all one of the biggest surf towns in Victoria. If you didn't know, Torquay is the annual venue for the International Rip Curl Surfing Competition.
Spent the afternoon shopping a little, and then we headed towards Geelong.
We stopped for lunch when it started to drizzle a little. I was hoping that the food would warm me up, cause it was definitely colddddd outside when it was raining and windy...
Thank God the weather cleared up when we finished lunch. The sun came out to play with us again! Yays~!!
We walked along the waterfront, and then stopped by the skate park to admire the skills of some of the skateboarders there.
The park was very well designed... I was quite impressed~! I would probably have picked up skateboarding as well if I had this park outside my house! hehehehe... just joking :P
But yeah, they were really quite good. We spent quite some time soaking in the sun, and people watching.
It was all-in-all, a good weekend getaway.
We drove back to Melbourne, alongside the rest of the Geelong AFL supporters heading to Melbourne to watch the footie.
Oh just on the topic of footie, I should blog about my first live AFL final series experience soon!!
Stay tuned people, and be good :)
