Hi, I know I haven't been blogging much lately. I admit that I have been lazy, and after awhile, you don't even know where to start. I have too many things that are wayyy overdue, and too many pics that I'm too lazy to sort out. Hehe.
But today, I feel like I really have to let this off my chest. How many of you out there feel that you have been taken for a ride at some stage of your life, by a friend or relative? How many of you have felt that someone else is sponging off you?
I am just generalising here (so pardon my accuracy, or rather... inaccuracy) but I think most sponges are girls. Girls that expect guys to pay for everything, and do everything for them.
Have you ever had a friend who never offers to pay for anything? It's either, you shout them, or you will end up going dutch (Count yourself a winner if you went dutch!!).
How many of you have been in situations whereby you finish dinner, the bill reaches the table, and they pretend not to see it, or immediately check their cellphone, or walk up to the toilet? EVERY single time! How freaking annoying is that?! I cannot stand people like that! In this day and age, I believe guys and girls are equal. Even if the girl feels like she shouldn't have to buy the guy dinner or something, she should still offer to pay for her portion of the dinner! And I mean OFFER. He may not end up accepting her money, but she should at least have the courtesy to OFFER. You don't just sit there while everyone else is offering to pay for the meal.
Some people really have the nerves to ask for alot! And not feel ashamed about it... not even appreciative of the help offered or the effort that went into it - be it emotional, financial, time etc. Not a word of thanks! It's as if the world owes it to them. It. really. irks. me!
You really need to wake up and get an eff-ing life! And I don't mean living off someone else's!! And please wipe that pretentious innocent look off that thick skinned face of yours.
ps: I really just need to vent!

Time to redefine what friends are.
You are right to many people lack an attitude of gratitude. But the Bible warns us that these days would come. Check it out some time.
