Time Machine

The first quarter of 2010 officially ends today.

Time certainly flies. Someone once told me that the year, is proportional to our age (ie the days we have lived). So every year, it feels like it goes faster, because it becomes a smaller part of your life.

ie: If you were 3 years old, a year is equivalent to 1/3 of your life! But if you were to be 50 years old, a year is only 2% of your life. Hence it just seems to whisk by you.

I have just celebrated my birthday ( Yes, I'm 21 again!), and it was nothing short of awesome (well, maybe only for the fact that my family wasn't here with me) but I really had a wonderful time, with people that I love. Jon also bought me a plane ticket to Perth, where I had the most awesome weekend in a long time, just catching up with my bestie. And also meeting some new friends.

I have to say that, this year has been good to me. Albeit it being a very "out of character" and an unpected one for me, I think I have emerged out of it, being more clear of what I want. It has also brought Jon and I closer in some ways - I guess it's true when people say, you grow closer when you go through hardship together, and be there for one another.

What the rest of the year has installed for us? I don't know. But I sure will try to face it with a strong and clear mind. Hmm, as for now, perhaps I should think of what to do for the Easter long weekend :P kekekekekek.
