For Y.O.U

I guess we have closure now, to an extent.
We'd like to believe Nish is at a better place,
where God wants her to be.
And we'll eventually meet up again one day.
When our time comes.

The memorial was very touching, with beautiful speeches from people whose lives she had touched, at different stages of her life. The turnout was massive! Half the place was packed with people sitting on the floor, paying tribute to dear Nish.

She was a truly beautiful girl, inside and out.

We shall not live in yesterday, and forget tomorrow because she's gone.
But instead look forward to tomorrow, and remember her fondly, because of yesterday.

The group headed to Pancake Parlour, for some comfort food after the memorial.
It was also a good chance to get together, and catch up on each other's lives.
To let each other know, that we appreciate the friendship, and will cherish each passing day.
To not take things for granted, to never forget telling your loved ones that you love them
every. single. day.

-----------

To those whom I love, and those who love me.

Now that I am gone, release me, let me go,
I have so many things to see and do,
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Just be happy that I have had these years.

I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness,
I thank you for the love each have shown,
But now it is time I travelled on alone.

So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It is only awhile that we must part,
So bless the memories in your heart.

I will not be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you cannot see me or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen to your heart, you will hear,
All of my love around you soft and clear.

Then, when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile, and a Welcome Home.
