A New Start...

Visited Jon's new work place in Richmond and met his colleagues and bosses... They're all really nice people, and everyone seems to get along with everyone. Well, I'm sure there are office politics everywhere, but it just seems less prominent here. It's like... a big happy family, ya'know??

And Jon seems really happy here too, which is a plus... cause he never comes home grumpy anymore. The only bitch about him working in Richmond is the parking!!! It's always a nightmare trying to find a spot to park. It took me like, 10 minutes just circling the area, and zig-zagging along small side streets before I actually found a 2P parking spot!

Well, everything else about the place is fantabulous though... I love love love the rows of greens in front of his office... love the quaint little cafe's that serve yummy food... love the accessibility - getting there by public transport if I wanted to, love the convenience of hopping 3 steps... and

TADAAAAA!!!

I'm on Chapel Street...!!!

So yeah, it seems to be a weekly ritual now... Have lunch with Jon, then head over to Chapel Street for a wander. Usually accompanied by burning some holes in my wallet... :( And then heading home with him after work.

Tonight was a little different though. We went in to the city instead. Had dinner at Dessert House - Ming Yen and Yong Shen's favourite place, and relived the life of a student once again. The familiarity of being in the city, the hustle and bustle of China Town, even on a weeknight... kinda makes me miss living in the city for a second...

Then, we came home and got greeted by Remy, running up and down the ample space.
Yes, this is the beauty of suburbia life...
