Both of us got out of bed late, and went for brekkie @ Hans Brinker, to have Dutch poffertjes :D YUMMMMM~! Too bad there's no photo of the little cutesy pancakes, cause I was carrying a small sling bag, and there's absolutely no space for a camera, cause I was lotsa junks in my bag. Hehehehe.
I was kinda excited, cause I rarely go for art exhibitions! I am a person of musicals, and theatre, orchestra and stuff, but I've never really gone for a proper art exhibition... so it was all very exciting! Oh btw, I've never been for a proper ballet performance too! *hint* tee hee hee.

His pieces were pretty good. There were quite a few from Dora Maar, his ex lover as well. Jon and I initially thought that allocating 2 hours would be enough, but we were wrong! We ended up spending more than 3 hours in there. Pretty amazing huh?!! But we were playing a fool, cracking jokes half the time (ok, maybe only a quarter of the time). One of the ones I remember was a picture of a woman in a striped hat.. and Jon went...
"Man, he should name it a striped woman in a hat, cause the whole painting is striped"

"I think he got bored, cause he just started painting stuff around the house, like "the vase and the bowl of fruit" picture.

After we left the NGV, we walked back to the city to have lunch. We had a veryyy late lunch indeed @ 5pm!! I thought I was gonna faint~! It wasn't entirely a bad idea though, cause we wanted to walk around and shop for abit before we ate, but we were both so hungry, that we didn't buy anything! Woohoo! Quite an achievement huh??? I'm so proud of us! Kekekeke.

After that, we decided to catch a movie. I've been nagging him to watch "The Devil Wears Prada" with me the whole week. Hehehehe. He finally succumbed to pressure. Tee hee hee. I think he wanted to watch DOA cause he said Holly Valance looks damnnnnnn hot in it, but too bad, they were not showing that last nite, so he had to go with my choice of movie :D *one point for my kailan*
I'm glad he liked it though! I was anticipating that he'd fall asleep again in the cinema, from all the walking we did yesterday. It was pretty tiring, but wow! He didn't! *another point for ya* It was a good day out indeed :D
My first step towards being cultured... and being more refined. Hahahahahah.. Yeah rite! I bet I looked like an idiot when I was laughing at his jokes. I can only hope that those people there didn't think that I was laughing at Pablo Picasso's art work and disrespecting him. *shy*
