Moving somewhere?

Someone once told me that I've moved up in the world, having what I have...
But I'd like to tell him, that after seeing his achievements today,
If anyone's moved up in the world somewhere, it's got to be him!
All the changes in his life in the past year..
The big, or little, the good and the bad.

I'm certain if he reflected upon his achievements,
he'd be totally proud of himself!

I only hope that he hasn't forgotten about the girl,
That little girl that travelled with him along the way.
That little girl that stuck around, and will always be around,
During sunshine, windy or even rainy days.

After all, success is so much sweeter shared...
