Since it was my last day in Melbourne yesterday, I decided to drive to Mentone to have lunch with JOn :) See dear, I'm sucha nice girlfriend... And since I was literally 2 minutes from DFO, I decided to pop in and have a look... but little did I know... it started pouring!!!
Rain = Evil! Because...
I didn't have an umbrella, and couldn't get back to my car. So I HAD to shop. I was FORCED to shop! Hehehe. Not entirely my fault~! :P
I ended up spending more than an hour in DFO, and my wallet got burnt! ** as usual ** As much as I wanted to NOT spend any money... it almost NEVER works!
Bought a dress from Review. :) **heavily discounted though. So I guess, it's justifiable?**
Lurve lurve lurve the dress. It's satin, covered with a layer of lace :) Decided to buy the dress cause we had a dinner to attend last night. It was for Tisha's birthday, and Jon's new job celebration!!
Amira, and Tisha - the birthday gal! It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they are mom and daughter huh?? I reckon they look absolutely alike!!
We went to Vialetto, on Hardware Lane - in the city. The ambience was really nice. There was a live band playing outside, and quaint little restaurants all along the lane. But the only downside was, it was a little too cold to be seated outside (although under the heater), so we decided that we'll have a table inside instead.

It was good seeing everyone again. I haven't actually caught up with Tish or Cle for abit. Been in Bairnsdale most of the time, and when I'm back in Melbourne, I'd be spending time with Jon most of the time... Hehehehe. It kinda sucks that Bairnsdale is 3.5 hours away!
As predictable as he is... Jon ordered the seafood linguine. "BORING!!" :P
I had the stuffed calamari with salad. It was stuffed with mushrooms, spinach, sundried tomatoes, chilli and some spices. It was really yum!!!

Dessert was nothing short of yummylicious as well. I wanted the peach crumble, but they ran out of that, so I settled for the Bailey's and white chocolate ice cream - which I'd say, is second to none... Reminds me of gelati @ Il Dolce Freddo. Oh how I miss gelati in Lygon!!!! MmMmMMMmmM....
One with all of us. Amy wasn't in the photo cause she was attempting to be a professional photographer! She was the one who positioned us and all... Hehehe. Not bad for a 7 year old huh?!
Well, I'm back in Bairnsdale now, and will be slaving myself this weekend. ED is going to be tremendously busy! I just know it already! Today wasn't too bad, but as soon as Gary (the morning intern) left, the ambo's just starting coming in! And to think that I was sitting in ED for 4 hours before that, and only saw 1 patient...
HmMmMm... Gary must be countering my "magnet" effect. The moment he left. "POOF!!" They just started swarming in! Just my luck I guess... sigh....

I'm well Mei Ling, thanx. Been quite stressed with my 1st week in Neonates. I like it, but it's just so different from what I'm so used to-Adult Medicine. Like getting bloods from tiny prematures is almost close to impossible.
Anyhow, we all have to start from somewhere, don't we? But so far, I love to see the joy when a baby looks well. Hehe.

And oh! I talk to my baby patients.. yeah, pretty much 1 way conversations. LOL
Would you recommend the restaurant to anyone? Was the price reasonable for what you were getting? Just wondering, cause I am planning to bring my partner out one of these days.
