More on Singapore :)

A lot has happened since I last updated. Singapore hasn’t been that bad, but seriously, there’s no place like home. As similar as these two countries are, I couldn’t help but to feel home sick once in awhile. Plus, I’m running out of allowance due to excessive shopping.

Dad’s been making noise, and I don’t think he’s gonna send me anymore extra money. So, I guess I’d have to rely on what’s left, and sign the credit card, if and when the need arises. Hehehe…

Been catching up with some old friends and relatives that I haven’t seen for agesss! Did some touristy stuff as well…

Visited the Shan Lin Temple @ Toa Payoh last week. One of the cleanest Chinese temple I’ve ever seen! (Not that I’ve seen thatttt many. And besides, I’m in Singapore. The country that fines you for literally everything!) But yeah, that was quite interesting. Architecture was fascinating, with a combination of traditional and modern designs. Strangely enough, the place didn’t look odd. In fact, it looked quite good, I’d say :)

Met up with my nephew too :D And yes, he’s older than me. Strange huh? It makes me feel damn weird when he introduces me as his aunt! Damnit! He just lovessss doing that to irritate me! Arghhh.

Had dinner with him at RennThai @ Suntec City. (Thanks for dinner, Wai!!) and then we took a stroll around, and being a tourist, I of course snapped heaps of pics. Hehehe. Highlight of the night was finding out that he’s getting married at the end of this year! I’m so happy for himmmm!!! Finally, somebody wants you! Bleh!

But on the other hand, it just scares me that I’ve been getting increasing amounts of wedding invitations. And I’m not even seeing anyone! I’m so gonna grow old alone! Am I just too fussy, or are the good ones really taken? L Sigh… Need to start saving for old age. It ain’t easy growing old alone mannnn! Hehehe…
