Needless to say, The Pavilion is hugeeee! Its whole premise takes up the whole primary school, secondary school, the swimming complex, gymnasium and our school field...
It stands majestically, carrying lots of new and reputable brands from all over the world... eg. Ted Baker, Marc Jacobs, Juicy Couture, Longchamp, Mandarina Duck - which were previously not available in Malaysia. **Yay!! I can make comparisons now, and buy where it's cheaper!**
Alot of the other shoppping complexes around only carry mainstream brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Coach, Versace, Burberry, you know... the usual... But The Pavilion carries a mixture of the old and infamous brands, and some new ones too... perfect blend.
Needless to say, it made me alotttt poorer that day :(
Its concourse area is hugeeee!!! If you looked closely, those little thingoes at the bottom centre of the photo, are performers... There are 7 levels all together at The Pavilion.
Mommy, Popo and Ah Ber cheche with the Christmas Tree :)
We were there from lunch time onwards, and only left about 5ish... but we only managed to finish maybe... 2-3 levels. And that's not even the whole floor.... There were sooo much that we didn't see. If you reckon Chadstone is big, this is wayyyyyy bigger!
But instead of being excited about this gigantic new shopping complex, I was somewhat a little bit sad... knowing that our school had to be torn down, to make way for this change...
The front porch... Where dad used to drop us off when it was raining...
The office block. The top right corner was where my class was in year 11. On the background is Star Hill shopping complex, and the Marriott hotel.

The clinic block - where my class was in year 7. The field where we used to play netball, and practise cheerleading... On the background, stands KL Tower... proud and tall. *yes, in case you didn't already know, my school used to stand right smack in the city.*
Sigh... How times have changed. How people have changed. How everything has changed...
These memories.... will only remain as memories...
And the reality remains that I'm broke!! *no more shopping* *no more shopping* - If I chant it enough, it might work?
Edit:
As I was googling photos of my school, I came across this blog:
http://back2bbgs.blogspot.com/
I spent 2 hours reading almost every single entry, and even teared... because she is right. Every time I drive by Jalan Bukit Bintang, I no longer see the prominent Office Block, Clinic Block, the trimmed lawns, our netball courts... We no longer see...
BBGS.
