My first paycheck :)

Alot has happened since the accident. I feel like a little girl again, having to depend on others for a ride to the hospital, and back. I must be like the only doctor that gets driven around :( Sighh... It's not a good feeling, but I don't quite have a choice, until I get a replacement car. Jon's dad, Uncle Peter has been a total gem, driving me to and fro...

I've been working for a couple of weeks now, and I just got my first paycheck sometime last week. So I decided to treat the little angels that have been around me during my time of need. Jon for being so patient and caring the whole time. Ade for accompanying me the whole time, and driving me around, and of course, Uncle Peter for going that extra mile for me. Thank you all!!!

I decided to invite them for yumcha at Sharkfin Burwood last Sunday :) I know that I'm broke from the accident, having to pay for insurance, medical checkup, traffic infringement fine, ambo etc... but I guess, it's only right that I showed my appreciation for those who's been there for me.... through good and bad times.

I kinda wish that my family's here to share my first paycheck too... Not that it's anything big, but it's just the thought that counts I guess... even if it's a small little meal... just to let them know that I've not forgotten about them... and that they'll always be loved. For without them, I won't be the person I am today... with that title in front of my name.

Mom and Dad, thanks for being the best parents ever!! You know I love you guys... Funny, I know you care for me a whole lot :) Come over, and I'll treat you to a nice hearty meal k?? I miss you guys...

And yes, Mei's still broke after her first paycheck. Hahahah... but Jon's parents didn't let me get the bill in the end. They fought me for it. So, I got a free meal after all... Hahahaha... It was quite funny!

ps: The bruise on my forehead is gone now :) Hehehe...
